"The 2014 season we took delivery of Spanish Partridges. We released them in our pheasant areas and kept them away from our own partridges to see how they preformed, They where very healthy, fit, ready to shoot on arrival, equally they adapted well to English weather. They acted differently to our French partridges, they were more like wild Partridges. They flew extremely well over the guns and not in big coveys and packs, returning to the cover strips almost immediately. We were very pleased with there returns and performances in 2014-2015 season.
This season we decided to try them on our Partridge ground. They have performed the same again with great returns almost 50% before the New Year.
I really would recommend these birds to any shoot - they are healthy and fit on delivery and perform extremely well. For the 2016-2017 season we are going to have all Spanish partridges. "
